Character Exploration

Finally making headway on a secret project that I've long wanted to do! Here's an exploration drawing for it!
At the same time trying to figure out if I should go for a realistic look, or stylize it a bit! More to come!

Repainting an Old Drawing

Took an old sketch I did 3 years ago and re-painted it to compare. I must say, very very pleased with how this came out. : )

Vermeer Study

I have decided that I need to strengthen my understanding of light, color, and composition. What better painter to study from for that then Johannes Vermeer.

Based on his painting: A Woman with a Water Jug, 1664-65
